2012 Kia Soul: A worthy opponent?
2012 Kia Soul [w/video]
While I'd hedge my bets on the Fit against it on handling and maneuverability without even taking a test drive of the Soul, it does have a lot to offer on paper. The revised looks are pretty interesting too. Would never buy one of these, but I'm impressed by just about everything Kia and Hyundai are doing right now. They will sell these like hotcakes.

I am waiting for the 2012 Kia Rio5 as a more worthy contender...but like the escort I wonder if my teenagers will fit in the back seats...

The Rio is really nice. So is the new Accent.
Sucks- but the Koreans have won the styling war. At least for now. Sorry folks. I don't like the extreme designs, and think my Fit looks better (extreme enough already!) but I doubt the general public would agree. They like whiz-bang flashy things.

The new gen coupe spy shots are pointing towards an ugly redo. Similar front end to the Veloster. The sonata is a nice car. Good camry replacement on the road. I see them everywhere. Personally, I'd rock a first model year silver Genesis sedan. It's kinda on the "want list." There is a guy in my condo development with an Equus, and it's a striking vehicle. They are definitely onto something over there. Rolling out new models like crazy too.
Meanwhile, Nissan is picking on Honda in their ad campaigns for not having any cars on their lots. A low blow if you ask me.

Yup, I agree. Koreans have won the styling war. But I also think that my Fit is way better.
