i am guessing that he sprayed on clear coat to the plastic, then while it was still wet, sprinkled iron dust over it, let it sit outside and mother nature did the rest. if its "real" rust and he didnt do it like that, i am fucking stumped. stop being a fgt and tell us how it was done.

So you made the bumpers and door trim - which unless I'm mistaken, if stock, are plastic/polycarbonate/whatever - appear rusted. Yet, there is nothing fake about it?
So did you fuse rust into the paint, fabricate a bunch of metal parts and rust those, or something else?
