It's friggin' crazy looking! While this might not be the final production shots, I am a lot more excited for them based on this. You can thank Hyundai for testing the waters on a more extreme design scheme for a high volume model. Those LED rings are going to majorly stand out on the road. The LED bling wars are well underway.
The interior is awesome too:

SORRY for the big pics. They are what they are.

With the driving lights on, I think it will look a lot better. The chrome rings catch a lot of reflections in these pics. Considering they are on whenever the car is, you could say that they aren't designed to looked good unless they are on.
Overall though, it's right up to par if they can keep it this clean looking, and nobody every really complains about how Hondas drive in reviews, so it's almost safe to say that it's going to get rated based on how it looks, is appointed and priced. I'd like to see the rear end too. Spy shots show a sort of BMW or Genesis sedan looking red/white band that wraps around. That dash is a winner in my book. Looks like a fun cockpit.
Edit: Oh, and this quote: "The hybrid, which will be offered early in 2013, will be able to travel 10 miles in pure EV mode at speeds up to 62 mph"
Surely this will be the new trend/standard, but really, that's pretty amazing. A game changer. I could get by with just that for just about everything except my commute. Makes me wonder if it would have plug in capabilities in addition to the hybrid system.

Looks like they did not deviant from the current Accord but continue with that design with updated front and back. Still a large car. At first I thought the front was the KIA. It use to be at least if you wanted a small version of the Accord you could buy the TSX here, which was ruin after the 1st generation.

wow, looks like something Kia would make. lol....
i too am NOT a fan of LED's. it's like those altezza euro-tails we saw back in the late 90's early 2000's. then GM came out like 5yrs i after 'cool' fad had settled and made situation even worse.... *facepalm*
i was never a fan of altezza euro tails either...

Like it. I like the current Accord so this could be even better. However I would want to drive the CVT before purchasing - never driven one, hear it's unsatisfying for the enthusiast.
Not likely to buy the manual. I'm sure that is a fun setup, but if the choice is between leather (SE) and manual (EX) at a similar price, I'd get the leather/auto every time. The EX-L is always too much $$ and with a manual you hurt the resale value.

cvt's are like slipping clutch feel. they work fine for most people. if it's a car for touring around town, it will do just fine.
but if you're a younger kid looking at accord AT sedans, it's like you've already given up on life. hahaha

I might be mistaken, but it seems that this picture is actually the concept model that debuted last year. I'll search for that article; I downloaded the picture then for my desktop....
