2013 Accord v6 EX-L

What's up guys!

I've been absent from the community ever since I left some time in the beginning of the year. I parted out my fit and I hope every who got parts from me is still enjoying the fit. I traded it in and purchase a 2013 Accord v6 sedan. I came to give you guys an update on the new car and show some pictures of my newest baby.

First, why did I trade in my fit?

My parents purchased the fit when I was only 16. Their game plan was to have my father drive it for a year (only a few months in the winter, he commutes on his motorcycle). The deal with the car was I could drive the car to go back and fourth to highschool, work, then college and work. It was very nice of my parents to buy me a car. The sweetest part was if I went to college and graduated they would give me the pink slip to the car and it would be mine to do what ever I wanted.

Well long story short I was 17. I did cheesy ricey things to the car that over time made problems and made me hate the car. I crashed it about 4 times. 3 very minor once I smashed it up real good.

My life changed and the fit just no longer fit in. I started snowboarding a lot. I cart around friends and family. I needed a larger vehicle. I would have loved an SUV but I really wanted brand new and couldn't really find an SUV at the price point with all of the features I was looking for.

I looked at a used Ford Edge, no go. I test drove a Ford Taurus. They are great but they are significantly more expensive than the accord when it comes to luxury features. So I purchased an Accord. I just had to get the v6, 4 years in the fit with 90hp has made me appreciate the power of the v6.

Here she is brand new and debadged:

Lot's of things to LOVE about the car. The power is amazing. The interior room is absolutely great. The handling is a bit lose but when comparing it to the Fit it makes sense. The luxury features like keyless entry, push to start, sun roof, keyless trunk, and blind spot camera are great. Some things are useless like lande departure warning, and the damn ECO button.

It looks absolutely great with LED tailights and running lights. I upgraded the fogs to LEDs and the low beams to HIDs. I did some subtle tint on the tail lights and that's about all i've modified so far. I plan to do wheels and suspension to make the car sit more like a BMW and handle better but that is further down the road.

Quick con list: no 60/40 folding rear seats, or trunk pass through. Where do i put my hockey sticks! The ECO button makes the tranny shift like crap. Halogen projectors (it's 2013 where are the HID's that match the LED running lights) The v6 comes with 17" boring wheels instead of the i4's sport 18" wheels. No light in the glove box WTF? Other than those small things I love it.

Feel free to ask me any questions or comment on the car. Hope everyone is doing well!

I went for the v6. So sadly I got stiffed on a few things from the sport the v6 should have gotten. Like the sport wheels. 6mt also wasn't an option for the v6 Sedan. Only the v6 coupe.

The i4 sport got paddle shifter. The v6 did not. I miss them very much :(
