Let's set up a Fit Meet in Philly! I have no idea about how to go about doing this, so any help would be appreciated!

 

I'm in for a road trip! Could get some of the NY/NJ crew to ride out possibly.

Thanks guys! At least I know there'll be a bunch of people there, wherever there is! How does one go about organizing such an event?

 

give a few different dates and see who can make it when. whichever date has the most wins.

PM as many people as you can find in the tri-state area. Set a location and a plan of what we will be doing.

 

I'm interested for the road trip!!! I can visit my cousin in PA!!!

 

What kinds of things are good? Maybe something like bowling, which has a big parking lot? I've never set up anything like this before, and my planning skills leave... a bit to be desired.

 

I would try to set a date first and get as many people committed and we can discuss what to do at a later point.

Maybe this could expand into a mid atlantic or tri-state meet?

 

I am in a brand new stock (for now) black sport AT. I would like to meet up with some other fit owners. Weekends preferable.

 

I'd be interested in attending a meet. I just got my Fit at the beginning of May and love it. I've upgraded the audio system so I'm the guinea pig so to speak.
I live right near Valley Forge Park in PA.

Any month is fine. Maybe at some point we could set up a monthy meet - every month, same place... I know some local Scion owners meet up at an Ikea or a movie theater then drive around together. Just a thought.

By this time, no one post any date yet. They are thinking at August, but not sure yet. As far as right now, our NY/NJ guys cannot do anything till the date is up. hopefully, you guys find out the date for meet soon. NY/NJ guys will come down for you guys.

 

I know I started this thread, and I'd really like to see a Philly-area Fit meet happen, and I'd also really like to go. However, I am currently planning for my wedding at the end of August and won't have any time to plan something else until after that.

This doesn't mean I can't GO to a fit meet until then, I just can't PLAN one.

 

good luck on your wedding. whoever is going to plan it let us know time/place/date etc... and the NY/NJ crew will try to make it.

 

Thanks. I think that since I started the thread, people are expecting me to plan it. I hope not. I want to talk to other Fit owners.

There is a girl who works in my building who has a Fit sport AT, same as mine, but silver instead of blue. I'd love to talk to her, but I only see her car when I stay late, and her when I stay even later, and usually as one of us is driving off. I just hope her mileage isn't as bad as mine!

 

So whats going on with this? Is it going down anytime? I would definitely drive down to Philly for it.
