Did you post in the NW USA section of the forum? Some Seattle Fit owner would be interested if the Canuks are not willing to anti up. Great deal, even better for the US owner.

Store it with the guy who has offered (nice one), you will be able to sell it if you wait it out. Maybe take a trade, a new iPod or something. Secure it to your garage ceiling or something, there is a market I am sure. Hell I would buy it all and flip it in a few weeks, when there is a demand. Craig's List, Kajiji, etc. What about the Honda Fit club in Vancouver?

Zip tie, simply drill a hole in the bottom of the fender and then zip tie it together...
everyone with rolled fender does that cuz the fender taps gets in the way of the wheels
