After being on this forum since 2007 with my faithful 07 SSM GD3 that I purchased new, it's time to finally move on. This forum has been simply amazing, so I thought I'd put my fit up for sale here so that it may possibly go to another owner who loves it as much as I have. It's the perfect city car, fun to drive and customized to be nice where it counts. It handles.

The car is located in Washington, DC. Just under 90K miles. Asking $5000.

The Fit has a many "luxo" mods:
Suspension
- Lowered on Swift Springs 1.2" drop
- Tokico HTS509 HTS adjustable shocks
- Progress Rear Sway Bar

- MEGAN 3" Dual Stainless Tips Axleback

- Sunroof
- Full katzkin leather interior in brown perforated leather with white piping
- JDM arm rest (matching the leather)
- Black headlight housings
- lots of other little interior things like the JDM coin slot / passenger sun visor with mirror / chrome door handles, chrome gauge surrounds, metal pedals, left foot rest...
- replaced with OEM 2008 wiper blade arms (the 07 blades were awful)
- carbon/kevlar hood scoop
- Yakima Rack
- Spoon Duckbill (carbon, then painted black)
Audio / Electric
- Kenwood HTS509 HTS head unit
- KAR 400.2 - ARC Audio 2 Ch 400 Watt Amplifier
- Image Dynamics ID65CS components in the front
- 8" ST8 Bazooka sub
- XS Power D5100R XS battery

Mechanical condition: It runs well. For my fellow forum members I'll be up front. The Alternator was just replaced. I replaced the plugs with DENSO IK22 and coil packs around 45K, Valve adjustment around 50K. I got the transmission solenoid issue which was fully resolved around 60K. Both front control arms replaced around 75K and the front axle recall corrosion inspected (no action taken). I have had 3 AT fluid drain and flushes - ahead of schedule, brake/coolant on schedule and oil service of course. GENERAL ALTIMAX RT43 tires on it now with good tread left. Brakes and tires soonish.

The car has plenty of little cosmetic flaws dents and paint scrapes inside and out, oem wheels are what you would expect living in a city for 16 years. I'd consider the cosmetic condition "good".

Is that a thing? Did they improve the wiper arms from 07 to 08?

Yes the 2007 wiper blades were a disaster. You can read old posts on them, but they were loud and didn't work very well. I decided to get the 08 blades, and realized halfway through that the wiper arms were a different length so I replaced both the arms and the blades.

 

Huh! Who knew?!

I'll keep an eye out for some 08's in the junkyards.

Different shape, or just length? Also, just passenger side, or both?
