why were these acquired. Were they warrantied Heads? And does paperwork come with them that show why the heads were removed by a Honda dealer?

I think you should let the seller sell her parts. Do all parts sold in this forum need "paperwork" to describe why they were removed and why they are being sold?

It just so happens her husband works at a dealership. I would much rather buy used heads removed by a dealer tech than heads removed from a McDonalds parking lot. You also work at a dealership and can score similar deals, no?

My $0.02

I would agree that this may sound fishy, however she did provide the dealership name. Real potential buyers could easily contact that dealership to determine why these were removed.

warranty parts are not new parts.

These are probably the head removed off the car, and a new head was put onto a car. These most likely are the heads in the back they are planning to scrap so they decided to see if anybody was interested in buying them before they get trashed.

Im trying to get more info here. It was warrantied for a reason. As far as paperwork Im not saying because its stolen, but more like the service info on why the head was removed. Technically employees are not supposed to get these parts as they are supposed to be kept to be sent back to Honda... IF WARRANTIED. Just trying to keep things safe for potential buyers here. You want to buy a head then find out it is faulty? Im not saying they are, just trying to acquire the correct info. Also If these ARENT warrantied parts, why were they removed.

I'd be interested in a head provided it wasn't removed due to being warped.

I aquired an entire spare engine and tranny for my specV the same way. Nissan never sent the paperwork to the dealer to pick up the parts. After 30 days the dealer just wants them out of the building. New bearings and a turned crank in the motor and synchros in the tranny and both were fine.

Haven't been on here in a while but looks like you're still pretty active on here Chris. Yes, paperwork is good especially for something like cylinder heads that were probably removed from a car that hasn't been out more than 2 years. Oh and 14 posts from the seller C'MON!

i would not give anyone a faulty part and if anyone wanted to ask me any questions about it i would not have a problem answering i did not mean to cause such a controversy i didnt think it would be such a huge issue i also was unaware that i had to have a certain number of posts in order to be taken serious.....i do work a lot so i dont have all day to post......also if i dont have anything that could contribute to conversations in forums why would i post? i wasnt aware that 14 posts means the parts i have are faulty......so lets just forget i ever brought it up on this forum and i will go another route to sell.........

as i said before nothing about these parts are faulty they ARE used as i stated before about 5 thousand miles on them......and of course anyone who was interested could have pm'd me and if you were not interested you didnt have to completly tear me down .......all you had to do was ask not assume we stole from him work that is just not something we are apart of..every person that pm'd me i gave them all the details...no b.s...all you had to do was ask me.....
