so do I now assume correctly that thpe-s and JDM are one and the same? or is it to fit with aftermarket bumper? tryin' to learn a little here

 

There are many different styles of JDM bumpers depending on which year you get it and what spec you get. I believe the Type-S one is the 1.5L in Japan over the past few years. Type-S is a JDM bumper
