FS: AJR Type S Turbo Kit
ill call up ben tomorrow. i emailed them and thats what they said.
they cant just sell the turbo by itself given the circumstances.
they told me that could work on a deal for the entire kit but thats it.

anyways i was just wondering about the gt2056 turbo you were going to use.
do you think that turbo is better then the one t1r supplys?
i know i will have to retune, and thats the only thing that is holding me back, but at least i know i can up the boost once i tune..when i get all the stuff i need.

My reasoning behind the GT2056 is that it's a smaller turbocharger, but a better designed turbocharger. For a small engine like the Fit's the benefits of getting a larger turbo are very slim - you can make some good power, but there simply is not enough displacement to spool the turbo quick enough to get any real airflow into the engine. By switching to a smaller frame size turbo like the GT20, you should be able to get much better response out of the engine, as well as greatly decreased lag. Along with the decreased lag, a GT20 can flow more air than an older T25, so there's also more power.
Also, I get a beefy discount on the turbo since I work at Honeywell...
So yea, that's my whole hypothesis on the turbocharger switching.

then you should get the turbo and package it with the kit...
im just waiting to hear if i get this new apartment or not.

seriously though, ive been sitting here stressin about my apartment, and then the turbo and seats. then i got my cousins and friends with crotch rockets buggin me when im going to get another bike.

Correct- with a different turbocharger, you'll have different flow characteristics, so you'll need to change the maps accordingly. I would recommend this anyways with any kit, this way you can get a tune that suits your needs/conditions.
