K I have a set price for the wheels w/ tires. I am not trying to make money out of this since I just want to make more room in my garage so I will sell each of the wheels/tires for $80, but it has to be with 4 ppl.

So are you saying you got your set for "dirt cheap", when you picked it up for $350, from your fellow forum-mate ? Based on the prices on the forum, I think $300 to $400 is fair price for an OEM set in excellent condition, when an owner wants to get rid of his equipment. If one wants to pay OEM prices, then we might as well get high-end Forged alloys that are a LOT lighter and stronger than these cheap OEM cast alloys.

On the Subaru forum, OEM Alloy wheels (17x7) with high-perf OEM tires (215/45R17) sell for $350-$400/set. If you try to buy the wheel and tire separately from the dealer, you are looking at spending roughly $200/tire and $600/wheel, which NOBODY would buy, obviously !

I actually paid $375, but yea, I thought it was a steal. The forum is a great place to pick up parts, prices are very reasonable. I agree with you on the reasonable price range, depending on what condition the wheels are in. When I said "dirt cheap" I was referring to a new OEM wheel w/ tire for $159, which I assume you can't get unless it's from a dealer (or am I mistaken?). No matter how new, a take off is still used.

As for the $600 price, that's what my local Honda dealership quoted me, I wasn't trying to say the wheels should be sold at that price, that would be nuts. I would rather take steelies than to pay that price! Like I said in my previous post, it's highway robbery^2.

So far I only have 2 people willing to buy a single wheel/tire. Flyin had to back out and nose, I don't think, has mentioned anything about hopping on the buy.

UH-OOHHHH!!! You might all be M-F'n me in a minute. Are we talking the stock 15" sport wheels, or the optional 16" HFP wheels? I immediately was thinking the 16"s 'cause thats what I'm running. If these are the 15", I will have to decline, and have to admit to all that I AM an F'n idiot.

vinnimac, yes we are talk about the 15" OEM Fit Sport wheels and not the 16" HFP wheels... it's ok, just need to find another person to jump in on the deal to have 4.

pokems23, he's been saying the price is $80 picked up so, are you ok with that or are you out also?

so we are back to 3:

1. Fit4DHM
2. pokems23 - maybe?
3. nosewitdot
4. __(you!)___
