F.S. Fit Sport Radio

I need to get rid of my oem radio from a 07 Fit sport. No damage or scratches. Any of you base guys need a Sport head unit? Make me an offer.

I thinks it's just plug and play but I'm not 100% sure. Someone on the forum know for sure?

it is NOT plug and play. the code that is embedded into the deck has to match up with the one in the ecu. if you took it to honda, they might be able to figure it out but i believe they do this so people dont steal honda radios anymore. i could be wrong.

Are you sure the code that came with the car and radio won't work? Why would they have two codes?

well, im not sure about putting a sport radio into a base fit but when i was buying my fit, the first one i was looking at had a malfunctioning radio so they tried to take the radio out of another sport on the lot and replace it but it didnt work because the codes in the deck and the codes in the ecu wouldnt match up. mind you, i waited around for four hours so they could swap the radios and the salesman told me this, not the tech so i cant say if it is true or untrue.

Sketchy. I can pull a fit radio in about ten minutes. If it takes the dealer four hours I'd say find another dealer.

This radio is sold. Thanks for the intrest guys and fyi: The sport radio works fine in a base model. You only need the code that came with the radio.

Don't bother, he sold it to me.
btw- There is no code for the radio in the ecu that has to match. This sport radio was plug n play into my base with just the regular radio security code.

Hey, got pics to the new radio you put in, moondog? So you gotta switch that whole unit if you want a new deck?

I'm a noob.

Anyone here know if it is possible to hook up the radio outside of the car? I recently replaced my head unit and speakers. So i was wondering if i can hook up all my stock parts in my room somehow. I would probably put all 4 speakers around my bed, just to get that surround sound.

LOL please tell me this is a joke!

But it could be done if you really wanted to, just need to know the pinout on the back of the radio, then get an ac-->dc converter.

Sounds like they are not much worth stealing anyway ($50).....we should be so lucky. I am rather pleased with my Fit Sport stereo, had enough of the window smashing on my Break My Window anyway. More worried about my new winter tires and rims, gotta get locks on those donuts.

With the Fit, lock and leave; no worries.
