We loved our Fit so much. Hate to see it go. I gave up a really nice VW GTI with DSG transmission for the Fit and never once regretted it. The Fit was the perfect complement to our S2000. My wife got pregnant and got rid of the S2000 and replaced it with a Honda Element SC (w/ manual!).

She then decided that she wanted me to have something bigger to cart the baby around in. It was SOOOOOO hard to find a replacement for the Fit, because the Fit was just SO much fun. I drove everything under the sun and was convinced that there was nothing else out there for me. At the end of the day, only ONE car was good enough to replace the Fit as my daily driver. I think this is the ultimate complement to how capable the Fit is in general, and how nice mine was specifically:

Whoever gets our Fit will be getting a special car indeed!

Come on down and check it out! I'd love to see it go locally or even semi-local so I could see it whiz by from time to time...

Honestly, I did too for my self only. I never felt comfortable risking my family's well being given the pitiful crash test ratings of the Evo VIII and IX - have you seen what happens when one of those is t-boned??

The new ones are MUCH safer!

Glad you made it OK. It was the T-bone that I was worried about (where my wife and kid would sit)- everything else I know was solid...

^ It's on autotrader too. The link is on the first page of this thread. In fact, I'm suprised it's not sold already. The dealers around me sell used 1st gen Fits for more than the MSRP on the 2009s!!

Thanks by the way for helping me keep this thread up top!

Car still available. FYI, I may very well be parting this out in the near future - stay tuned!
