Damn it's no wonder AJR got dropped if they have been shipping counterfeit J's.

Anyone else get this exhaust from AJ Racing?

Yeah you should contact as many that you can find and see if their exhaust looks like yours or the authentic one w/badge and hole on tip.

Man that just sucks I hope you can get it sorted out. AJR wouldn't have been dropped for any other reason and since they still sell J's it seems fishy. I got my T1R 50S v2.0 used for $175...glad I didn't end up ordering it from AJR if this is an acceptable business practice for them...

 

everyone i know personally who has a 50RS looks exactly like mine.

 

I didn't buy the J's exhaust from AJ Racing, I got a Spoon N1 exhaust from them though. Do you think it's possible that I bought a fake?!

So apparently we have the "AJR edition" which J's Racing made for AJR for USDM fitment and to esentially spread the word on J's Racing stateside" At least thats what I'm getting. Hopefully Ben can come clear this up

 

I hope that's the case because AJR has had a really upstanding reputation in the past.

If that is indeed the truth it still wouldn't explain them being pulled off the vendor list.

 

Do you have the Spoon badge? What I heard is that AJ racing been selling counterfeit spoon parts too. (and this is from a good source)

The real J's racing exhaust weight probably about 2Lbs, When I got my shipment I thought the box is empty.

We both know Yasu. Yes, this is a big problem for many users on this site. Spoon as well? I'm not surprised. I bought a few parts from them and noticed that my sway bar resembled one made by Cusco.

 

WHOA WHOA WHOA, aside from the fact that everyone has taken my thread and blown it up. This is not kosher. You are now knocking on a respected dealer for this site. I'm not partial either way. They could be doing something wrong they could not. But keep it in PMs i'd appreciate it and i know they would too.

and junktea needs to stop flaming the "fake" 50RS so much. Its starting to get a little out of hand. There are quite a few of us who have this exhaust, Kelsodeez, myself, Bluecell, just to name a few.

I don't really think junktea1 is trying to "flame" your exhaust per se, just giving potential buyers the heads up that it's not a genuine J's product. In his sig it even says "J's Racing Distributor." I'm sure he just wants the facts straight. If you like your exhaust and you're happy with it, more power to ya brotha Sorry about the hijack!

 

I think perhaps you're still missing the point. maybe you didn't read the post above yours. I'm not saying he's flaming mine and only me. He is talking about the exhaust in general. I'm not going to explain the genuineness because ben can explain it better than i can. Perhaps he'll post here to clear things up. But i posted a link to a thread with his explination.
