might be a stupid noob questions, but how is it plug and play? Were OEM mirrors wired to be have turn signals? or the auto fold function?

Want to understand it a little better. Super interested in them.

Yeah, I see the harness too but my question is whether the Fit was wired to do all that in the first place...

I know the stock mirrors have wires that control the mirrors. To my knowledge, there are no turn signal wires. And what controls the auto fold function? Turning the ignition off? Locking doors?

I wish I could read the diagram... I just don't understand how it can be plug and play..

I hope my question makes sense....

I see what you mean. Well. This is actually designed for GD3 Fit Japanese version which already has all of the functions (auto fold, turn signal); however, if your USDM version does not have all of the functions, you can:

Autofold: You can ignore this function or add a control panel by your self so that it can be controlled.

Turn Signal: you can easily connect a wire from the turn signal on the fender to the mirror's wire connector.

You are welcome. Actually, it is only the wiring problem, not that difficult.

Sorry to let you guys know that the factory is not manufacturing the whole mirror anymore but only the mirror case with the LED turn signal lamp and the lamp spot to the ground.

So it won't affect the original function of the mirrors you have.

Thanks

Yes, just replace the origial mirrors cases. I am not sure if the size for USDM is the same as the ones we are using here. You had better checked if your mirrors size is the same as the JDM ones.

Thanks
