Curious what 08 fits are selling for?
My fit is a manual and has 54xxx miles on it and was curious what people are selling them for(ball park)
I was thinking 10k range?
Also do you think I'd have better luck putting it back to stock or selling as is.
It has konig heliums, skunk2 pro c coils, aspec cold air intake and aspec exhaust.

For prices, kbb.com and ur local craigslist.org. Not sure on the prices out there but the fits really hold their value in the city and still going in the 14K range.
From a buyers' perspective, i never like buying modified cars. So selling a modified car really limits your market size.

IMO, take off the mods, sell it stock, because you'll never know who's the next owner and dont know what that person gonna do with your parts in it. might as well sell the mods seperatly and get some money back. better yet, sell it back to the dealer might be ideal. again, just IMO.
i thought about selling mine as well, i was thinking put it up at least 13k to start wit.

you never know and with gas prices going up, demand for a fuel efficient car also goes way up and when demand goes up prices go up. some dealerships have been known to pay almost original purchase price from what i've heard. I tried to sell my car to car max during the winter over a year ago and they only wanted to give me 7k but I bet now that demand is up and they really need more fit's they would pay over 12k at least. its all about what they can sell it for.
I was able to trade mine in back in October for 11.5. Then again, they wanted the car bone stock. So bone stock it was when I traded it in.
*Also note* The price you will get for selling/trading wont reflect aftermarket parts on the car. After all a $10K car is a $10K car, regardless of the $1500 coilovers on it. Most potential buyers would rather see the car bone stock opposed to being sitting on coilovers and cheap aftermarket wheels.

back in 08, my wife wanted to trade in her STi for a yaris(fuel prices), they only gave her 17k while kbb listed at least trade in value was 23k. so we sold it back to subie dealer, asked for 28k, walked away with 26k. and it was bone stock plus brand new yokohoma tires, cant beat that.
I have been wanting something faster and something I can make look good for a while now and welllll. It's misfits fault lol.... I sent him a text about the meet and I found out he was selling his fit and trying to get an s2k. Long story short, I make pretty good money now and I went and looked at new cars and I might be joining him and getting one as well. I just need to make up my mind and decide if I want to keep the fit and get an s2k or trade it in. idkidkidk
just an fyi
i checked some dealer pages here and even with their mark up, it's almost cheaper to get a new honda fit than it is to get a used 2-3 year old one.
i don't get it at all but damn i know what to do if i need to sell mine
saw one black automatic with i think 38k (2008) and the tag was $14800. i double checked b/c i thought it was wrong. and it was a clean car, i'll give it that. but $14800 was pushing it imo.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Edmunds. Go here and click on the "Appraise your car" link. Keep in mind that you will not get 'Dealer Retail' for your car.
You'd be much better off removing all the non-stock stuff and reselling it here. Most car buyers are not in the market for modified cars (I almost said 'Ricky Racer' there) and you'll get less for it as a result. Your area's Fit pricing is a bit higher than mine, and you can expect anywhere from 7-11k, depending upon condition.
It's nice to see that my Fit is still worth more than what I owe the bank.

I searched for about a month all over the state of FL for a '07-'08 sport auto and most of them from dealers were selling in the mid 13's to high 14's and that was with anywhere from 35K-60K miles. Take off $500 or so since yours is a manual and i can see you reasonably getting 11-12K for yours.
Edit: most of the cars I could find were stock, If I were you and I'd return the car to stock and make some extra cash out of it.

sold my car for 10.5 with 27k miles. extended warranty. Fujita intake, t1r shock and spring combo,15" borbet wheels, and a Brand spankin new battery. haha but this was like 6 months ago. nobody pays KBB anymore thats just how it is, and its harder to sell a red car.
i'd buy your car in a heart beat, look at it, it has side markers....if i dont know anything, i'd think this FIT is a rare FIT in the states, hehe.
i checked mine, i got so far 44k since 2007, still worth around high 12k....not bad
