Hello everyone.

I have a 2008 Fit Sport in Storm Silver Metallic and interested in picking up some used (or new) wheels. I am not exactly sure what I am looking for yet. I am keeping my mind open to consider everything out there.

What I can tell you is that I'm open to a size of 15" but prefer 16", and nothing larger. I would consider most black, white and silver as a last resort in color choice. I am looking for something with some contrast to my body color. As far as style, I can be a bit particular. I generally do not like flat-faced wheels and do like six or more spokes. I find some five spoked wheels attractive, others not. I would give price higher importance than weight, but I'd like to keep the weight down as much as possible.

I have a set of Kosei K1-TS, 15x7, 4x100, +38. No center caps or hub rings. I'm near Pittsburgh. These wheels.... Kosei K1 TS Silver Painted

 

what is the most your looking to spend? I have a set of BBS RS, 15X7 +32. You would probable want to re-poweder coat them but they are orange with polished lip and center caps.

 

If going used, I think my ceiling would be about $500 for wheels and $300 for tires.

 

^ you realize that not a single wheel (except for the rotas) in the list on your first post will ever be found for $500, unelss they are beat to shit and require refinishing....right?

if your willing too spend $500 on used, why not just get new rotas for about $50 more?

 

totally your call on what you want to spend but like Nighthawksi said you will be hard pressed to find legit wheels that cheap I spent $1,200 for my used 16" Volk CE28 and it was $1,600 for my bros used 18" Volk TE37 and it was about $2,000 for my used BBS RS. None of this is including the price of tires

 

Hey guys, thanks for posting and sharing your thoughts with me on this topic. I realize the high cost of wheels – new or used. But I also understand the loss in value of used items. Most everything loses value the longer you own it.

As stated already, the list I provided was for examples sake. However, to make a legitimate point based on the last two posts... If I can buy Enkei EV5s for $705/shipped today, I would not expect to pay anything more than about $500 for these used. That is unless they had some very low miles. I feel pretty confidant that more often than not, used wheels have some good milage on them.

Prices shouldn't be based entirely on condition alone. I certainly understand that wheels that are currently discontinued are likely to fetch a higher price if they're harder to locate in the used market.

I have no idea how long the 5Zigen GN+ has been unavailable but I imagine it would be difficult to find these. I like them quite a lot. If someone made me an offer on these today, I'd be very interested. I would expect the seller to be asking a premium because of the availability. I may then consider to spend more than I am budgeting for. It simply comes down to what's available to me.

I am by no means looking to debate or argue. This isn't a topic something worthy of that, and I feel those actions are mostly a waste of time.
