I have cash in hand and ready to pick one up in Montana in the next 3 months or North Carolina if its in September or later. I would be ok with driving a little, but not across the country.

Needs to be 100% mechanically sound
Needs to have a clean title
Don't care if it has mods or not (as long as they are tasteful)

Don't care if it's been smoked in
I just need a good reliable mode of transportation under $10,000

Picked up a 2002 Jetta TDi 5 speed in Montana instead. 45 MPG here I come.

I will still need a second car when I get back to Fort Bragg in 3 months though, so I haven't given up on a Fit, just delayed it.
