Thanks for the heads up. I will get one for my GD1

I'll add this to my Mugen shift box, H-Fit hard mounts and solid derlin under hood shift bushings.... I still doubt that will eliminate my issue though I have so much side to side slop in gear, other drivers think it is still in neutral and stall it.

i'd be keen but they only post expedited and that adds $90 to the cost FML

Thanks for the heads up. Ordered.
I ordered an extra. I would be able to post it for you when I get it. $20 (my cost with tax, and some gas to the post office) + $37 USPS priority mail to you. I won't be able to send out until Saturday as it is my only day off.
I just installed the SS adapter today. Like everyone says the white cap at the end of the stock shifter is a bitch to get off. After trying different methods outlined in the Skunk2 SS thread, I found the easiest way to remove it was to get a small vice grip to pry and use as leverage. Most difficult thing about the install was trying to tighten the three allen screws. It is at such a bad angle. I haven't taken the car for a spin yet, but just going through the gears it's a slight improvement.

These are still available from Skunk2.. for $15 why not indeed.
I ordered a set.. even if the shipping up to Vancouver (~$20.) costs more than the parts.

Wanted to check this fits the uk gd jazz sport model?
I emailed skunk2 before I found this thread and they said it wouldn't fit, so want to double check.
Thanks.

The strutking metal washer (designed for GD3) also fits too. I am using that with the skunk2 adapter. It works fine without any problems.
I would suggest to take the cotter pin out and completely detach the shifter (from the cable) during installation. It is much easier to install the adapter that way. I simply don't know how people can "slap" the adapter in place and tighten the 3 allen screws without taking the shifter out
Hope this helps.

Yep this was the best $20 I spent. I still am getting used to the new throw but the feel is so much better and removed tons of slop.

Spend another $30? on strutking metal bushing. You will feel like the shifter is wielded to the chassis

as soon as i get my alternator working i will hop on this like a lion!

I installed this last night on my GD3.
Hardest part was that damn bushing on the pivot ball. Used a 17mm socket to get leverage and pop it off. Took me about 20 minutes to do it.
