If anyone is hesitant because of the miles, consider that used engines are plentiful and rather inexpensive.

 

Would make for a killer first car. I would throw it up locally and try to sell it as such. It's what I plan to do with mine. "Modded out, very versatile, very safe, and best of all very slow."

Absolutely. Although, I would probably put all of the stock brakes back on. Figured I try here first as-is.

@Binary: Whats the bike & trailer set-up weigh? Which hitch did you use?
Any problems? I'm considering a similar solution to getting my bike to the Desert.

Yeah, what transmission does it have?
What oil have you used and how often have you changed it?
Spark plugs ever been replaced?
Also, any collisions, accidents?

 

The OP said "clutch at 100K", and I spy a clutch reservoir in the engine bay picture. I am thinking it is most likely a 5MT.

 

5spd manual.
I like to use 5w-20, changed every time the idiot light tells me to.
Spark plugs got replaced at 100k, have 4 more in box ready to go.
Car has been hit in the rear 3 times, front left bumper cover once. Never hard enough to deploy airbags or kill the motor.
