UltraGauge (sold)

Have a new (used one month) Ultra Gauge, plugs into OBD11 port. You can customize the gauges to what you want. 7 pages of possible gauges. I took out because dealer told me it was drawing too much power and causing my battery to run down. Paid $80 and it includes the suction cup mount, will sell for $55 shipped to your door in the US. PM me if interested.

The ultra gauge is not be your problem. It turns off when the key is off and there should be no open circuit in the OBDII port. I have no problems with mine in 2 different Honda cars even in this past arctic winter. I would not believe anything the dealer says.

Thats all I have to go on though, they say that it periodically wakes the system and then goes back to sleep. There has to be some type of connection though or the gauge would restart itself each time you turned on your car. Just unplug the OBDII and plug back in and you will see the difference.

The OBDII port/ connector is turned off when the key is off. There is no drain possible from it with the key off. The dealer is blowing smoke.

Even in the FAQ manual for the Ultragauge it says it still pulls power when the key is off.
