Thanks, I take it you are Canadian as well? I prefer to buy used as the Canadian dollar is so weak right now. Cheapest I can find because of that is around $650 shipped BEFORE duty.

That being said, how did you like yours? How was the install?

 

HAHA I was about to post this as well. Sucks this header came back in demand and WR is out of stock until mid April at best.

 

I know right? Nobody has them in stock and I was also told mid April. In December I was told mid February!

 

I ordered my 2 weeks ago by a company that finagled cancelled the order. I was pissed to wait that long just to get cancelled.

Companies online are claiming to have the product but don't actually have the product. They use WR to drop ship but they don't have it either.

 

Custom race header is always the best

 

And triple the price!

 

Are they waiting for demand? Is that why proposed in stock dates keep getting pushed?

 

They are waiting for the product to be finished and shipped over. Problem is that the LB port strike is going to push it back further.

Yep, from Alberta. Bought mine last year when our dollar was still doing ok. Sucks to do online shopping right now, that's why I placed all my parts hoarding on hold.

Install was not that bad, but I had some issues bolting the pieces together since the bolt connectors are just spot welded and I didn't want to break them. So because of the lack of tightness between the 2 pieces, I have a very small exhaust leak. It doesn't really bother me since I always drive with the windows down (Summer time only - parked in winter).

Sound wise, it makes the Fit sound different. Or maybe because I have a full exhaust. On idle I've noticed it sounds like my Forester with the oem exhaust.

From my experience with this header, I'd give it an 8.5/10 just because of fitment. They could have made the bolt connectors a better one. If you can find a better price (Around $300-500), go for it before they decide to discontinue it.

 

I am definitely going to buy this header when its available and then get Hondata and tuning. Hoping to get 110-115 whp with CAI, this header, UR pullies and exhaust.

 

Same here, I'd be happy to break the 100whp range with those mods.
