How to fix sloppy steering
My 2010 fit has 125k miles on it and the steering has gotten pretty sloppy. I can turn the wheel a good 4 to 5 inches in either direction before the wheels begin to respond. What should I have my mechanic look at the next time I take it in?

I believe you can reset the clearance / interference in the steering box but you need special tools (bigger than normal stuff). I've never done it but listed all of the steps in one these threads earlier this year. I can post photos of pages from the shop manual if you want.

Any idea how much it'll cost to have tie rod ends replaced?
