KraftWerks Supercharger Kit Info v3.0
is anyone running lightened pulley with kwsc? also wondering if anyone is running the weapon r intake manifold? if you gotta pull the top if the stock manifold as it is, it kinda makes sense to swap out the manifold at the same time. just wanna know if it's working as well as hoped. if you don't wanna announce to the forum, pm is ok. (big brother is always watching...

the kit was designed to work with the stock pulley.
gotfitted came down to the shop today, and I'm glad he has everything worked out now.
He was having some issues, and we wanted to take a look.
He had a few vacuum issues. First off let me say these were not his fault, as he did not install the kit. First, the fuel tank vent was going to the air intake, instead of the purge control solenoid valve near the throttle body. This caused a CEL and a funny noise. Also, the car had the vacuum tree plugged into the purge control solenoid valve, instead of the gray PCV hose down by the front of the intake manifold. This also poses many problems. Furthermore, his ground for the SuperCard, was bolted to an insulated fender bolt. The SuperCard ground should be bolted directly to the battery, with no interference.
He is fixed up, and going down the road happily! Check you instructions owners, and happy driving!

haha yea, my hoses were installed bass ackwards and long story short, the car ran like junk. i think it goes without saying that i was rather disappointed, to say the least. I emailed Oscar and he got back to me with a quickness. I arranged a meeting last week and dropped by today. Oscar and his dad came out and figured the problem within 2 minutes =O (amazing!). Even though i dropped in around lunch time (sorry guys!) Oscar Sr. proceeded to get his hands dirty fixed my problem right up. OJR then came with me on a test run to make sure everything was dandy :P
and to quote OJR "[i'm] fixed up, and going down the road happily! Check you[r] instructions owners, and happy driving!"
thanks, again, Kraftwerks! Great company with great customer service

I'm coming down all the way from Calgary, Alberta Canada this July and picking up the kit.. but i want the high boost kit..
Does that mean I would need to buy the base kit, plus the hondata reflash package and that it? or is there more to it?
A question with the reflash, does that entail me taking out my ECU and sending it back to Kraftwerks?
Any reason that the high boost kit may not be ready in time for my arrival? I'll probably be in the LA area on the second week of July.. it's gonna be a long road trip!

I believe if you got the base kit with Hondata, you'll probably just be missing the pulley to make the Rotrex spin faster. As for your ECU, I asked the same thing to OJR, and he said basically in the box there will be a pre-paid FedEx box (or UPS, or whatever) to ship either overnight or next day to Hondata, and they will ship it back overnight or next day to you.
OJR - does prepaid postage include only the US, or Canada too?I guess I can discuss this with KW when I'm down there..
Oh, and btw... KW can thanks Illusive for persuading to go with the KWSC over the T1R turbo kit... it took a lot, but in the end I see the benefits.. I think Illusive should get a referral bonus lol..
it would be nice to know if that's just "the company stance", or if KW has specific negative feedback after having tried an after-market pulley themselves.
holy cow, how did that thing even run!!
at least the spark plugs were still in the right order.

Its great living in Cali, especially since i'm only 30 min from where Kraftwerks is based
This way if i get the upgrades they offer and run into any problems, i can just drop by and ask them to check it out.LOL, for real... it seriously ran like junk, like it was just stock. But even in jacked up, hoses from hell, set up the car still pulled noticeably in third gear from 4k to redline LOL!

Cool!
It all depends on when we release the High-Boost package. If we do not have the High-Boost kit released yet, you can Get the Base kit and Hondata, and upgrade tot he High-Boost easily down the line.
For the Hondata/KraftWerks reflash, you would remove your ECU. The Hondata Reflash package includes a pre-paid box to put your ECU in.

A/T specific Questions...
So for the guys, like me, on the waiting list for the A/T kits:
- Based on conflicting reports I've read so far, will I even need the upgraded injector package? I have a J's Racing header, a J's Racing Cat-Back(50mm), and will be keeping the stock catalytic convertor on(for now
).
- Hondata reflash? I thought that was only for the M/T kits that were going high boost. Did I miss something here or is this now an option for us A/T guys as well?
- Lightweight Pulley. Judging by the other thread...oh boy!
I have one on my naturally aspirated car now but if the boss at Kraftwerks says don't use it I'm gonna follow his advice.
