A few suggestions for the forum.

Let me "Like" a post. Sometimes I want to let the thread know that I agree with a post without having to type it out as a response.
Under "Quick Links", give me an option to view new threads/updates from the last time I visited instead of just what's new today.

I've been a member since 2010. Update my "5 Year Member" status to 10 years maybe? Update it every 5 or 10 years of membership?

I agree, being able to Like a post, like Reddit or youtube, would be great. Making it easier to see what popular posts are AND count how many people liked them

Hey, thank you for the suggestions for the forum/website. Unfortunately, I have no idea who to forward/share these types of constructive criticisms and suggestions with/to. As I'm sure you know, it's not very active in here and my powers are limited in what I can do beyond managing threads and banning users. I believe the suggestions you are making would require implementing a new forum software—something I wouldn't even know where to begin with how to make possible.

afaik this site and S2ki seem to both run similar/the same software, but S2ki added a like function awhile back.

i think they’ve also kept up with their little star badges for long time members

I'm with OP on all of the points made—I just don't know how to get them going. I'm familiar with the like function on S2KI as well and I am a fan of it, too.

I'm with you on all of the things you suggested. It would improve the user experience.

oh for sure, just meant that the site owner (that I think owns both) has all the capability to offer it, they just don’t seem interested. Its a bummer, this is a better place than any of the various Fit facebook groups.

The facebook groups are all garbage. They are ran buy people that kick you out when you don't agree with the working admin in each group. A complete shit show. And now there are 15+ Fit groups ran by random people for no reason.

I for sure like having everything in one location. And ran by one set of people.

I was kicked out of one group (Fit Freaks) last year just for being a Mugen collector. They said I should sell everything I wasn't using to other group enthusiasts that wanted the stuff. When I kindly refused, they booted and blocked me. I know because my wife is still a member there.

Just a bunch of over-privileged clowns that want control of everything. smh

I could easily provide a laundry list of issues you caused in said Fit Facebook groups along with supporting screen shots from your childish rants and abuse of power as a moderator in said groups (and some of that behavior pops up here). Let's not openly play that card please. You are DEFINETLY NOT innocent there.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I wouldn't know how to get in touch with him/her/them. I like this forum because it still has all of the information—you just need to search for it. Lots of posts with great information on these boards.

I can't really speak for what goes on in the Facebook groups. I don't think there's an official relationship between the FitFreak Facebook group and this forum either. I view Facebook as a tool to get a quick answer and the forum as a treasure chest, if you will, of information. There is lots of good information hidden away here—even on K swaps and such. However, most people don't want to spend the time looking for it and want the quick answer—enter Facebook.
