i have decided upon the fact that we need a Ride of the Month.
it was on club rsx, and i really liked it, so we should definitely do it.
i'm not really sure if we have enough fits, but we could give it a try.
like,
one month we could have "best MR fit"
or "best F/I fit"
stuff like that

This could be a good idea and also a bad idea. I hate to say it but there are alot of people that are going to vote for certain people just because they like them. Then again I wouldn't mind picking out what I think is the best fit in a certain color each month.

 

naa, i would pick the best looking one, not over who i like

(they don't know who you vote for )

 

This is a great idea. Our local car forum has the car of the month that is featured on the front of the web page. Then they have monthly contest for theme shots. One month it was your car pictured in a city setting - etc. That is a lot of fun and the members vote for the winners. If you
developed a different theme then more people might feel like participating. Just have to make it fair and keep it open to all different type of Fits and mods.

like, there could be "best beach fit" just fit pictures taken on the beach or waterfront or something.

if it is going to be all about pics locations, it should be called pics of the month instead of ride of the month. id rather it be all about the cars than be about who takes the best pictures.

throw out some ideas for categories for ROTM. We'll pick one, and if nobody else wants the 'responsibility' *squinty glare to Kyle* I will make sure to post up a new poll in a new thread every month (1st week of the month) for everyone to vote and discuss.

Best supercharged Fit
Best turbocharged Fit
Best (color categorized ie: MR, SSM ETC....)
Best bolt-on Fit
Best Fit conversion Fit -> Jazz/Mugen etc...
Best Swaped fit (K20 etc..)
Best raced Fit
Best Phototrail Fit
Best Euro Jazz
Most unique Fit -for the Fit that takes the road less traveled







Feel free to copy and paste additional ideas to this post, and as always these are just ideas. Nothing is final, nor is it to single out anyone's car in particular. These should be fairly generalized categories to keep competition tight enough to narrow the field, but loose enough to include several good players in the game.

 

We did kinda have something like this.. It was sponsored by the vendors. Each month a vendor would pic a car after submitions as a ride of the month. That person would get free products from that vendor.

It hasnt happened since the screw over of a certain vendor.

 

The problems begin with free stuff. We just need to do it to do it. No real prize, just the ability to add something to your r i g h t Justified signature!!!
