Problem still exists as of 0800 EDT Oct. 20. It even happens when you click on Home from somewhere else on the site. Confirmed in two different browsers (Chrome and FireFox 3.0.14).

I always connect with this bookmarked search URL for all new posts:

GOOD POINT! so new people that arent REGISTERED yet shouldn't get the error - PERFECT!
now i don't need a "/fourms" sticker

When it first happened I was FitFreak-less for about 2 weeks before i tried the www.fitfreak.net/forums URL out of curiousity...cuz my friend said he could get on w/o any problems. I'm suprised the homepage (if you're logged in) is still broken.

Angry

I just wanted to let you guys know I have also been having a different problem with the site. The whole site seems to become non-accessible every once in a while. I can look at stuff fine and then it suddenly seems to stop working. There is usually no error but it just says the page cannot be found. If I refresh a few times it sometimes starts to work again. It seemed to happen more when I am logged in but sometimes it just quits completely like this morning. This is the first I could get on since I started trying at 930am. Its forced me to do homework

I could not even log on to the site yesterday without having it disconnect. I went to my other local car forums and there is not a problem posting or viewing post on them. I don't know who is in charge of our beloved Fit Freak forum but someone needs to check it out and get it fixed. The forum is so slow to load post and to just view a post takes a while to view. This forum use to run as smooth as glass when I first joined in Feb. 2007 and now it is just a pain because half of the time it doesn't allow you to log in or if you do get logged in, it is slow and kicks you off the site altogether. Makes me wonder if some kind of tracking bug has not been installed. When this happens I do a diagnositc and my computer can not determine where the problem is so that tells me it is not with my system but with the forum. Somebody fix this - I can't do without my Fit Freak fix everyday!
