Skunk2 Fit Rear Brake Kit

Because of the inquiries regarding the rear brake conversion system used on the Skunk2 Fit-R (as seen on Street Tuner Challenge), we would like to gauge the level of SERIOUS interest in this custom kit before deciding to make it fully available to the public, so we are giving FitFreak.net Fit owners the opportunity to be the first to purchase the Skunk2 Rear Brake kit.

The kit will include:
Rear Calipers, Pads, Hard brakelines, Soft Brakelines (Stainless Front and Rear), Spindles, Hubs, E-Brake cables.

This kit is straight forward bolt-on replacement that retains the use of ABS and has been tested on the racetrack and on the street.

Before we manufacture this kit, we will need at least 100 pre-orders.
We will be selling the kit to the first 100 customers for $650 USD.

Please e-mail all your contact information to info@skunk2.com and we will put you on the list. When we have sufficient number of pre-orders and are ready to order all the parts, we will require a $100 non-refundable deposit at that time.

(Actual product may vary)

I ordered a rear disc kit from another vendor otherwise I would jump on it.
100 Fit owners might take a little while.

Good luck getting 100 pre-orders. It seems there isn't even 100 active Fit Freaks.

I'm in!!! I'm considering for the K20 swap, even I'm not going to do the swap later on, if I put the disc brake on, it will not hurt the car.

Well, there has to be 100 pre-orders before any manufacturing is done....so after waiting to get 100 people, we'll also have to wait for the kits to be made and then shipped!!

How long would we have to wait after 100 preorders are complete?

This is still in the works. We’re going to put together a list of people who intend to pre-order the rear brake kits. Once we have a list of 55 people we’ll ask for a nominal deposit and then the kits will be ordered. It should take about 90 days for the kits to come in.

For those interested and want to be put placed on the list please email me directly at rayi@skunk2.com
