Skunk2 Racing

Skunk2 Racing has been pushing Hondas to go faster and handle better for over a decade. We've applied that experience to our latest project car the "Skunk2 Fit R". As we transformed the Fit into a beast, we developed an aftermarket arsenal for the Fit enthusiast. Our first release is the Skunk2 Lowering Spring but Keep your eyes on us for Fit exhaust, full coilovers and much more...

I went to several shops ( I live in Indonesia) and they say Wiseco don't make forged pistons for 1.5 l engine. I checked their website and I don't see any for Fit. So, are those custom made for your Skunk2 Fit R only? Can I order those from you guys ? If they make those now, can you give me Wiseco parts number for these : Pistons, Connecting Rods, Main Bearings, and Connecting Rod Bearings. Thanks alot guys. And also, how much boost do you think the stock internal Fit can handle? I'm afraid I could not find those parts here in Indonesia.

Yes, the pistons were a custom part for the engine. I'll check with our engine builder on the boost.

I checked with our engine builder, he said it should be able to take around 7 pounds. More is possible depending on the set-up.

Do you have to mod anything for fitness, or was a bolt on?

Don't know, you'd have to call Autowerks and ask them. We left those decisions to them.

If the car had been tuned and working alittle earlier in the competition I think the Fit would of got 2nd place instead of 3rd but did I hear correctly that running on all 4cyliders the little 1.5L put out 210hp?! with the 3cyliders it put down 141hp
