GD stuff for sale!
i've got a few things that i need to get rid of. bills are catching up with me and i need to make a few sacrifices just to get by...
$150.00 - megan axleback. i just bought this a month ago and have to let it go
... nothing wrong with it, i'm just trying to get back what i paid. no bends or scratches, just needs some polishing to look like new again. comes with a new doughnut gasket and spring bolts.
$100 - progress RSB. i had one, it dislodged itself on the freeway and went bye-bye, then i bought another one.. this bar will come with bootleg panducky bolts/nuts/washers.

I hope that RSB that went lost wasn't the one we installed @ my house! How the f**k did it come lose without causing serious damage to the car.

Anyways bump for ma homie charlie.
Yeah, whooooooa there...... sounds like there's a story here that needs to come out!
fack me for being too excited and not even looking for a DIY before attempting installationthanks for the bump kev! i might not need to borrow the axleback any longer, if i can convince my homie to give me his stock fa5 exhaust

definitely one of the best darwin moments of my life.
wtf you caught air on that freeway interchange? lol how fast were you driving, like 180mph? yea at least your car didn't get damaged, but if there's a sway bar lying on the freeway, i'd bet somebody hit it and their car got damaged..=( poor soul.
yup that's the one. it didn't damage anything because i installed it wrong...

long story short: bar was installed the opposite way, hit a bump on the I-405/I-10 connector, i caught air and landed hard, home depot bolts snapped, bye bye RSB/$100.00... i'm just happy it didn't damage my Fit

you have no idea about how paranoid i was when it happened. i was watching sigalert.com all day making sure that damn RSB didn't cause any accidents or slow down traffic; nothing outside of regular morning traffic. i'd imagine the RSB slid off into a shoulder and out of harms way.
BUMP! i may be selling my Blitz Throttle Controller too
I'll take the RSB in August if you can wait until I get back from Hawaii. Do you know if I can get replacement bolts from Progress?
BTW - Any difference after you added it? I already have a FSB installed that is thicker than the OEM version.

sorry, joe. if someone sends me an offer before august i'll have to run with it. i'm strapped for cash and would like to avoid paying bills with my credit card LoL.. i hope you understand.
i've never attempted to call Progress about replacement hardware. i took advice from another member and bought steel bolts for metal work from Ace.
as far as performance goes, i felt an immediate difference in driving dynamics but can't say it made my car perform any better or worse -- depends on your driving preference, i guess.
i'm on skunk2 pro-c's so i didn't feel any difference in ride rigidity, i'm sure a lowering spring set-up would be different. one of the things that i noticed immediately was that before the RSB: exiting a turn with gradual throttle, the steering wheel would correct itself and straighten out. after the RSB i had to do the steering correction myself.. not a big deal but [again] it's all about the driver's preference.
