OG Fitfreak in search of TW gd3 5speed
 

Sup guys and gals,
Some of y'all know me, some of y'all don't.
But time has passed(5years) and I miss the fit scene.
Looking to build a white gd3 5speed. Let me know what y'all got... It must be a sport model as well.

Well I had a red one, and all the other colors to me are kinda meh. I just wanna do white on purple .... But since I'm familiar with the layout, this time will be a whole nother style. I just need the car . I always said one day I'm gonna get another one. I picked up a gs 300 and it then made me realize that VIP wasn't for me .

Yeah, same, I had an 08 MR Sport 5MT, which ended up getting wrecked. Eventually I got around to getting another one, an 07 TW Sport 5MT, really like this color.

Yup. My love for the fit never died. I might go with a black one if the price is right. Then I can paint it whatever color I want and not have to worry about the engine bay lookin tacky. I see a lot of people moved away and there is a lot of new faces. The last meet attended when Peter threw one ... It felt like the original people who help build this site with knowledge were the new guys. But non the less ill always enjoy the reclining seats. Plus I think i can put my ruckus in the back . This would be a huge plus for me of I could . Now to find a reasonably priced fit, with semi decent mileage.

what's your price range and mileage? I can look around for you up here.

Somewhere around 9k and hopefully under -around averaging 15k a year. So around 100k would be fine I suppose. It's just hard to find a 07 white but ill keep searching . When the time is right it'll find it's way to me. I barely drive anyways, as I ride every day. This will also give me some play room for a boost if I keep the price low

did you ever put up that video from your go pro mounted on your rental dodge charger? anyways...did Kevin end up selling his fit? he had a tw 07 that he was trying to sell.

lol, yup...still around. I don't hang out anymore though. The last meet I went too, i was seemingly the "new" guy lol.

Hey I'm actually selling mine! Its 07 TW GD3, but is salvaged ok?
i was rear ended on the freeway so no engine damage. I drive it everyday i just reached 101k mileage let me know if your interested.

After speaking with the owner of my old fit, man the aftermarket support sure has backed away from the fit scene( ie boost) .


I gotta do more research as now I'm the noob . And see what are my options. I want to know what I need to get first before I even pick up the platform.

i remember it was almost 3 years ago when I hit you up because I knew my dad wanted to buy a Fit, didn't work out because he wanted a stock one :(... it was a dark time, it seemed all gd3 owners were selling their cars.

my dad ended up buying mine and i parted out all my aftermarket stuff. now i'm buying it back and looking for parts to throw at it again.

Thanks gimme for the link. The only thing I dislike I the rear bumper but I have acces to oem parts so I gotta look into it. But it most definitely is a solid platform.

yo james long time no fucking see. to be honest dude the fit scene is dead :(. its pretty bad at least. mostly just us OG ff people lurking but ya dude if i was gonna buy a new car i would get a FRS otherwise a used fit would still be dope cuz they are kinda cheap as fuck now a day :) good see you back though man.

Yeah brotha it has been awhile. i was at the last og meet, but barely any of the old timers came out. it was like a handful of us...and we looked like the new guys. i need something practical( more so to tow my ruckus around). i am still looking around for a decent fit, i might take a plunge and get into a new 2015. my friend just bought a SSM gd3 auto, and i couldn't resist to drive it. brought me back to all the good times. We need another fit meet, bring back the love of the fit scene. we don't need aftermarket support to have fun and eat good food right?
