Very cool.

Which turbine housing are you putting on that 5858? GNX, DSM, T3, T4 or V-Band housing?

Trying to get an idea of what sort of power and overall power-band you are looking for with that much turbo on the L15As stock cam and internals..

Care to share?

The 5858 can max out a Walbro GSS342 @ 14.5vDC on E85

We will be running a JB 5858, With a E compressor. T3 with a .63 AR. Wont be running E85 as it's not readily available in our area, and we feel pump gas will do just fine. Dont plan on maxing the pump out as we wont be going too aggressive on the stock internals. With the 5858, spool time shouldnt be too laggy, as it's not that large frame of a turbo.

Power goals are undetermined this far.

Very cool. Can't wait to see what it churns out.

It's not a large frame by any means but these newer wheels, even the 58mm/74mm compressor can move some serious air. I've seen a couple service 450awhp on Pump 93 with a 2.0l

I logged 67.x lbs/min massflow @ 38psi boost on one of my 2.0Ls through a 59mm/80mm Borg Warner S200sx

Rod bolts for insurance and a big cam with some good springs will let you get away with a lot more on the otherwise stock rotating assembly.

Basically keep torque/cylinder pressure relatively low and wind out farther to make a big HP figure. That's been my formula for stock block Honda builds and a side benefit is it gives a nice broad power curve and those T3 footprints will make for low drive pressure out the top end.

Anyways good luck and keep us posted!

The intercooler is rated at 350 I doubt we'll see anywhere near that on the stock motor.

Where do you plan on mounting the intake for the turbo? Engine bay is tight...

Have not got to that point yet but turbo placement was very important during manifold design process to make room for an intake, intercooler piping, downpipe and dump tube.
