when I saw the link of the setup you have inside....I said to myself...I've seen this before...I just did'nt realize you were in Chi-twn area....that's a sweet set up....When I saw your setup the first time I wanted something like that.....but I don't have the slightest Idea of what to do....but big props to you holmes.....

Thanks for the props! Music in Motion ( Crestwood/Chgo Hts ) does a great job from custom to everyday sub boxes. Head unit is next along with speakers when I get that done they assure me " TiteFit " will make the audio mags.

Im out in the burbs, Woodridge to be exact next to downers grove and Naperville....But I grew up in the City, lived in Cicero for quite some time till I got married and moved to the burbs. You mention HIN...what's that? as for myself I've seen 4 to 5 fits as well.... not to popular here in Chi-twn...but I love the way this car handles....and I want to get a sound setup like yours soon....just have to save up for it...LOL!
But so far all I've added to my "superfit" are my superman graphics on the side of the car, Superman car mats and steering wheel cover. The door trim on the inside I covered in vinyl Carbon fiber....it came out pretty cool and other small parts to give it that "racer" look.

I' m looking for people who might want to be in the HIN car show March 31st maybe we could all be together. PM me if interested, I'm working on getting the info, I should be able to let you know the registration fee soon.I know its a long time off but it'll give us time to turn our FITS into showstoppers.

 

i might be there but as spectator only. the winners of this event are those with the most money to plunk into their cars and i myself nowhere near the ability to just shell out several thousands bucks on this. i mean having nice rims or lowered springs or a strut bar is nice but it's just not going to cut it in event like this. sorry dude.

if you want we can arange a drive together to the place. i can ask my buddy to join then we going to have 3 fits ... still this is kinda far away, need to wait to see what is going on that weekend.

 

You don't have to have an AJsRacing Fit to be in the show, theres alot of local, somewhat modified tuners there. I'm not going to win anything I know that, but I want to represent! Did you go to the HIN show this summer? There wasn't one FIT (and there was a ton of beaters there just out to have fun) . Do you have any mods yet? What side you from? I'm from the far Sside

 

Well, right now i have absolutley 0 modifications done (i have the car for like 9 days) and since the car is dayly driver and have bike as my fun vehicle i don't plan on hol lot of modifications. almost all of them will most likley be self made. intake - copy of K&N Typhoon SRI since it is nothing more then 2 90 degree pipe bends welded together + 40$ cone filter. i have acess to TIG welding machine (and sertified welder) so it even can be aluminum. front strut bar - again, it is nothing more then aluminum bar with 2 mounts. door sills accents are also come to mind - it is just aluminum bar (albeit with double sided tape). did i mention i just love Mcmaster?
as far as easier mods i prolly do the VTEC light (optoisolated and dimmed by the stock dimmer) and convert some of the other lights (rear signal, dome + maybe add maplights and do back-lightted H (honda) symbols) to leds, dirt cheap DIY mods. in the long run i'm looking at carputer possibility and presence of AUX port will really be nice for that. thts pretty much all i plan for the Fit

i understand that there is Best stock car nomination and IMO it should obviously go to Fit Sport ( first of all to White one, then everybody else ) but i probably will pass. basically every one is attached to their car, so i can totaly understand those showing up in beaters with primed bumpers - they truly think their car is the shit (long time ago i also thought that my rusty bare stock accord was the SHIT! you know, first car- first love). although looking at your pics and mod list you should participate.

i live in Wheeling (my buddy with silver fit sport in Buffalo Grove) so we are kind of on different sides but we can meet in some west suburb, say Naperville, join the Fiters from there (if any exist/interesed) and go to DT - so it will be show + nice ride.

again we need to talk a bit closer to the actual date.
