Muncie-Anderson Indiana area Fit owners

Thought I'd open a thread inviting anyone from Muncie, Anderson and the surrounding area to say hello. Also welcome to shout out if you have family, friends etc here Visitors can ask questions, post a wave if you driveby interstate waves accepted too

If someone here is into mods, it would be great to have a new local thread on that too.

Hey Sam - I'm from Fishers, have had my Fit for about 3 weeks now - good to see another somewhat nearby.

How about we meet up sometime Friday night?

Since MarTT and I live in Fishers and you in the Muncie/Anderson area, how about we meet in Fishers?

Any suggestions on locations?

I have a few mods done to my car already. I just did the JDM smoked tail lights last night. I'm then going to do the JDM hazard switch probably today.

Friday night is great. Just say where - it's your neighborhood.

I don't know too many places since I just moved here not too long ago. How about the Buffalo Wild Wings off of 37. It's near that bowling alley Pinheadz. This is close to Noblesville.

How about sometime around 8 or 9 pm?

Hopefully MarTT will reply too.

See you guys tonight around 8pm.

I'll be either sitting in my car or mulling around it till I see another Fit.

Look for the asian guy.

Thumbs up Great Fit Gathering (3 counts)

Great meeting you both and looking over the cars. After t-bone left, MarTT and I talked to a guy who stopped by in another honda. Sounded like he was considering a red one that's apparently available in Indy. MarTT thought it may have been the one he was originally signed up for- he got bumped up.

t-bone- I think your tint and smoked tail lights took best of show.

I'll have to do some serious work to get into this game- maybe even wash mine.

We'll have to figure out something that works for indytone- maybe catch one of your shows (I'm hoping tickets are under $54 for the lawn seating).

Yes, I had a good time talking to both of you guys. Hopefully next time I can stay longer and we can all grab a bit to eat.

Maybe next time we meet I'll have my JDM center console.

And I expect both you guys to have some visors.

Sam, after I came home, I remembered seeing that Mugen had something that may interest you. It's a bit costly, but I think you may be able to do something similarly on your own. Check it out:

Hey guys,

Here is the trunk handle I was talking about. Saab carries it and you can get it in three different colors:

That looks good. Here's an image and a link to another . . . with a testimonial here. I'll be ordering that - but do we have an attachment point there on the Fit? Or just those little rubber bumpers?

Thumbs up Finally saw another Fit in Muncie Indiana

I saw a fit on University Ave coming West from Downtown today! Waved from the passenger seat (my son was driving).

Good spotting, Sam! Now, the question is - did the driver of the other Fit wave back in acknowledgement or just look at you like, "Who is that idiot waving at me?"
