Well we all know there are quite a few fitfreaks in washington but it seems we dont make much contact or meet up together. So a sighting thread might help us network a bit.

Anyway i saw a Blue Fit around my school (Stadium Highschool) today. Had no clue who it was but my girlfriend left a little note telling that person to come join fitfreak.

You guys see any other fits around?

 

I see a bunch of fits around the area.

There's a VBP sport that parks in the t-dome parking garage, plate gr8 fit.

There's always one or 2 running up and/or down i-5 between everett and tacoma. Mine is usually the 1.

I saw a house with a light blue base not far from my house, looked like an older couple owned it.

Most of the fits I see on the road have middle-aged women, who are larger than me..., or have older people behind the wheel. And by older, i mean past 70 years old.

Also, I tried organizing a get together for these guys and it fell through, so I wouldn't count on getting one going with these guys. Took a month for anyone to post anything in this area.

 

yeah i know what you mean by fits being driven by older people.

regarding that last meet. heh sorry bro, i was one of the people that said would go but i was stuck doing last minute things for the rents.

hopefully though this thread will let us network a better and maybe when the weather gets better/warmer we can try another meet and greet. dont worry i'll organize this one as i know how dissapointed you probably are from the last.

 

disappointment doesn't cover it, but we can just leave it at that.

 

I see two parked in the same lot where I park at work everyday. They are both driven by younger drivers. I saw a base white Fit with tons of stickers on the back of it in Everett a week ago. Maybe we should post pics of our fits so that others know what to look for when they see one driving around. I have a FitFreak sticker on the back of mine.

 

Well, I have to post that I havn't seen any other fits here in the past few days... up in everett for at least half the week.

Mine is fairky noticable. VBP sport, if you look close at the front lip, pass side, you will notice alot of paint fade. Front license plate in the windshield (no front bracket), have a NW TOY RUN 07 sticker on the driver's side rear window (small little window). I'll post a pic up later today if i can.

 

Yay! After spending the entire weekend with my gf, through wednesday, I finally did get to see another fit in the everett/lake stevens/marysville area!

It was a TW sport going across the Hewitt Ave Tressel, wednesday afternoon around 4pm or so. Nothing really noticable about it, the license plate frame showed that it came from Everett Honda though. lol

 

That's right where I live. But mine is VBP. I did see two on I-5 this morning near the Everett Mall Way offramp. One was Milano Red and the other was SSM, both sports. Driver of the SSM had Georgia plates!!!! ... and was a woman.

 

hmmm, so i've been seeing more and more fits lately, however none of them modded and hard to tell if any of them are on these forums. Maybe we should have a role call too, having pics of our rides and stuff lol

 

BOM Sport driving through spanaway! I was in shock that another Fit was so far out by me! Guy in his mid 20s with a smaller female in the passenger seat, could've been asain, could've been daughter, I have no clue. He didn't notice me at first, but the 2nd time we got side by side, I gave him "the nod" and from then on he kept trying to play (with either me or traffic, I don't know). Unfortunately he went one way on 512 and I went another. Hope he's out here!

 

One of the guys from Vancouver was down there on the weekend and said he spotted a red fit with plate "ZEE FIT" anyone on here?

 

Well, this is interesting. I park at the Tacoma Dome Station everyday, at least I used to, and today when I parked there was this Fit that I've seen in there many times before. It has the license plate of GR8 FIT and has the license plate bracket from the Honda Dealer in Bremerton... The car was a VBP Sport... Now it's a MR Sport.

 

man what a depressing day today was...after school i was minding my own business following all traffic laws, i hit up an uncontrolled intersection where i had the right of way, so i proceed doing my business and BOOOM someone comes and T-Bones my driver side....the car is pretty messed up right now and i can only pray its not totaled. Whats ironic is i saw a record 5 fits today....

 

Sorry to hear about your incident. Hope everything worked out alright with the insurance company. The important part is that you're okay.

 

anyone from the local got any advice on what kinda intake/airbox i should get? i thought of CAI..but not so sure yet...

 

The only advice I've found for a CAI is that the K&N isn't the best way to go. Different people here on the forums have complained far too much about it.

As for what to go for, I can't really say. My Fit is staying as close to stock as possible since I have the supra as my project car.

 

i hear ya man...i am havin' the FIT as DD AND half modded car...i am just doing a research on many things...you know any jdm brands for intake wise? haha

 

nah man. Deffinately do reading here on the forums though. Bout what people have tried and such. It's going to be your best bet with this car me thinks.

I'd becareful though, modding your DD too much can lead to the purchase of another vehicle.

Tidewater Blue Metallica Fit!

So here I am, cruising to the bus depot when this non-sport tidewater fit zips right up onto my tail. I had just finished going through an intersection, following someone that didn't like their accelerator at all.

The fit follows me down waller rd. to 112th st (this is in the sticks area of Tacoma). I hop into the turn lane and the fit pulls up alongside of me. ANOTHER female driver. This one older than the last that chased me down. No windows rolling down today due to cold wet stuff on said windows. But I smiled and gave her a nod, which she returned. I figure she was in her late 30s early 40s but seemed to be excited about getting the attention of another fit owner.
