ok guys. i have now decided and with enough research done now that the f20c will be going into my fit. im hoping it will be done by next winter since this is all prototype stuff. im also hoping to run an ivtec conversion on my f20c so i can make some killer torque numbers.

jpax is going to have a challenger now.

the only motors that have been put into the gd3 chassis are l15a, k20, b18 and b16.

but the f20c and the k20a sit at the same lean angle. they weigh about the same amount but the f20 will be able to make more power and will be a first. i will start a thread when i get the motor.

money is hard to come by right now so it looks like this will be a long project.

if you know anyone who wants to donate one i will happily take it.

didn't you say the f20c still gets in the way of the firewall? how's that getting fixed?

yes from what i have been researching the f20c had a lean angle that did interfere with the firewall, but i have been talking with some guys who have been maching bellhousing adapters so the f will sit in the fit exactly how a k would sit.

i no longer have any problems now aside from the custom wiring i will need done.

the b18 will be a hard swap since the intake manifold is on the opposite side of the motor, but good luck if you do plan on it.
