well, went over to the eastern side of the state saturday morning and had a blast till about 3/4 way across the desert, almost to kennewick... Bulge formed in the pass side rear tire... on the inner sidewall! argh! unfortunately i didnt have a camera so I can't post pics of it. Long story short on that, discount tire by the lakewood mall is getting a new dunlop sp31 for me... but it'll take about a week since the manufacturer doesnt have it in stock (i think they have to make me one. hehe). So now im running on a barrum or something like that, and it sucks balls for handling. ugh.

well, here is the only shot of the fit, it's on Canyon Rd... a blast of a drive if you are in that area, hwy 821.

My Fit got wrecked a little over a year ago I'd love to come to a meet and check other people's out, I still have a place in my heart for the little things. It wasn't all bad though, this is what I'm driving now:

 

wow man, that does suck about your wreck. Digging the beamer there... you ever think about getting another fit?

 

Yeah, I almost went out and got another Fit right away with my insurance payout. I still think about getting another Fit occasionally. As for day to day driving the Fit was probably more fun than the bimmer not to mention a lot more space and 15 mpg better. When there's no traffic and the road has nice corners in it though I always get reminded why I put up with the super harsh ride and heavy control feel the rest of the time

I did go test drive one of the 09s (not sure of the chassis code on those) a bit ago but I don't think they quite have the "magic" of the GD3s. Now my mom is thinking about getting a Fit to replace her Civic Wagovan. I hope she does so I can drive it from time to time and get my Fit fix.

 

ah yeah. I sat in an 09, and my 350lb, 6'4" frame didn't fit as well in the 09. my knee went into the dashboard, which i can't really stand the redesign of either.
