Where are you located chinkieboy? I ordered my 2012 MT Sport from West Hills Honda in Bremerton. Yes it is a factory order. Any dealer has the ability to order for you, actually getting them to do it might take a little persuasion. West Hills was happy to do the order with no BS.

I ordered at the end of October, and supposedly my Fit will be here around the 2nd week in December. Sometimes they can get it faster if the one you want is due to arrive anywhere in US and they can divert it to their store...just depends. They will search the state and then the US.

Good luck, let us know what happens!

Deposit was $500, and that seems pretty standard everywhere (locally). I was able to do everything over the internet/phone with Amy at West Hills Honda, although you have to be willing to take a ferry ride to Bremerton for pickup

Is that right! I almost made a deal with Kirkland, I think it was Jim...not sure if we discussed amount of deposit. They kept dragging their heels about making the deal to order. When I got hold of West Hills Honda they clearly were ready to order at once and the price seemed ok too.

I know one other Honda place did tell me $500 deposit.

Bremerton is not very convenient but guess I can go to any dealer for service, if I do go to a dealer for anything that is. I am closest to Downtown Honda (Seattle).

Yes Jim seems to like to do a whole lot of talking, but it never seemed to really go anywhere.

I got disgusted and felt like saying Do you want to sell me a Fit or not, and are you going to order me one or not. Got tired of fooling around. LOL. Not just Jim but some other Honda dealers too. Jim was actually one of the better ones, but still.

Of course i was doing it all by email, maybe going in to dealership would have been different but doubt it.

My Fit is a silver 2012 manual transmission Sport.

Not saying others won't order for you, just I got tired of the games and went for the sure thing. That is how it worked out for me.

Fun talking to you

You can email Amy at alounsbury@haselwood.com. I negotiated the price by email, then called her to give the deposit. She made it so easy to spend all that money

Glad to hear it! Seems like I have been waiting a long time. But it was the only way to get a MT.

I thought 2011& 2012 came with the carpet mats. However the rubber all weather or Weathertech digital are superior.

I just checked the Honda website- Mats are standard with the Sport model & are not included with the Base. It doesn't say which mats, but I believe they are the carpet ones.
