Thread about the Fit on ClubSi.com

ClubSi: Picked up a Honda fit today! "With pics"

I'm defending the car as much as I can in the thread. My user name on that forum is also Storm88000. Someone said they would choose a 1986 Ford Tempo over a brand new Honda Fit, it's actually pretty funny if anyone wants to check it out.

$30K Fit

Wow, $30K? I'd make that guy a deal, let him have mine for $20K!

That basher on the other board is just trying to stir things up for fun. He probably has a 1986 Tempo.

I'm on there as well, my UN is n2o fed.

The whole $30k fit thing, is that one of the guys on that board bought a fit when they first came out and paid WAY over on sticker and after adding in financing, he paid something like $28k for the Fit (if I remember correctly) so everyone on the boards rags on him for his $30k Fit.

its a waste of time reading that thread, theres nothing to learn, they think that their car is way better than fit because its more expensive and way faster than fit, just my $0.02 cents.

I hope you didn't read it expecting to learn anything. CSi is just a place to go, talk smack, and laugh. I've been on that site for almost 7 years and and haven't learned anything, but I've had a lot of great laughs. To the casual reader, that thread probably doesn't make any sense, but if you knew the back stories of the people posting, it would be funnier, trust me.

Personally, i think the Fit resembles a 03 civic si , but with an extra door... would I be wrong in saying that?

I think its the economy factor, and I want to know why so many eclipse/sti/z06 drivers are on that forum. damn.

also, best post on that forum was

i think it's pretty well understood that it was in my own opinion that fits are ***.
Do you always click into clearly titled threads about things you don't like just to say the thread sucks, or is this a Monday thing?

You wouldn't want to start one with CSi, we've been known to destroy other boards when they try to start a war.

beware the power of stupidity in large groups.

hahaha jk

No one wins from board wars though. I hope the Fit community doesn't have to go through one.

This makes much more sense! Thanks for clearing that up, Endless. I was hoping no dealer was taking that sort of advantage of people.

In reality, we who finance our major possessions DO pay a lot more than we think we're paying. My small piece of land is 16,000 bucks, but it will be over twice that, once it's paid for. Reality bites sometimes.

I believe the offical stance of the Mods and CSi is "no more flame wars" after we shut down a few sites a couple of years ago.

They are just jealous, or trolling to get people riled up. Cars are cars, if the ass hat wants an 86 Ford Tempo, more power to him as I drive by and point at him while he is broken down on the road.
