Would it be possible for the admins to make a thread that is only available to members who have been here six monthes, have 500 posts so that we can keep some of them ge's out and eriel can actually show off his car without fear of copycat Fit's

 

make it at over 1000 posts. that would keep the wanabes out. we should have a VIP section in the forums for the higher class of poster. ha ha ha

 

yeah i think 1000 would prolly be better, most haters/bad members/biters that i have seen don't have over 1000 posts

it's not problems with the post whores, all the guys that are in the PW thread are cool, it's problems with biters, ge owners, other stuff like that....plus 1/2 my posts are in the PW thread

you have to actually RIGHT something ON the topic in the normal threads.

 

how about this for an idea...
an owners forum, by generation (GD, GE)...
and to gain access you need to log in with a password.

on is300.net we had something like that and the password was like the first word on page 73 of the owner's manual.

 

that means gd people cant look at ge cars and vice versa lol

 

not to lock down the whole forum, but rather have a special owner's sub forum.

 

Id say at least 2000+ posts. I would also not want members to automatically get in when they hit a certain number of posts or a certain stat, i think it would be admins choice on who got in and when. I dont see it happening though guys, too much chaos would be caused by something like that. People would whine and complain if they didnt get in, ect ect...Too much of a hassle.
Plus this isnt a general chat forum, its a Honda Fit forum. I know the off topic and wasteland are a huge part of this community but we try not to stray too far away from the fact that this is still a car forum

 

if your a member of Club Integra they have something like that, that's an example ( i am but have 11 posts in 2 months)
