They got some CHEAP tires. Always wonder how they can be so inexpensive online and so pricey at brick and mortar places. Probably because the average consumer doesn't take the time to research online.

I know some of you guys ride bikes...

Know anything about welding aluminum frames? My bmx frame has a crack near the crank area...Don't know if it's worth it for me to strip it and have it welded...

Any ideas?

I don't know jack about bike frames but have welded a bit in high school.

Something I would be concerned about is the frame possibly distorting when repairing the crack due to the heat required to join the base metal (the frame) back together and add filler (if needed). In addition to that, the metal thickness at the crack is another concern.

Do you have any pictures of it for us to take a look at? This way we can get a better idea on whats what.

Well--I'm going out of town tomorrow...and won't be back till Tues.

I'll try to take some pics on Wednesday.

If I can't fix it, I'm gonna either buy me a bike or build one

U can sand down the area where the crack is down to the metal and use JBweld and then paint it agen when it dries
