Stretch versus No-Stretch is always such a controversial topic, lol.

Stretch looks good too. But each to their own. Some love it. Some hate it.

I mounted some wide 13" Chevy van wheels on a VW Beetle using much smaller bias ply metric sized tires that had a 70% bias ratio..... It looked cool and drove great.... No one else I knew was doing that back in 72.

Stretch looks good depending on the wheel, and offset,... and width :P

The cops here have been known to write tickets on much less noticeable extremes than what I have seen on here.

Stretch has to be done with a big drop also. If your not low enough, stretch looks silly.

Happy Easter everyone.

I don't mind stretched generally. It only bugs me when I see stretched tires and the guy's running his mouth saying that stretching tires don't affect your handling, cornering ability or overall grip. I've had people argue that their stretched tires can out handle non-stretched tires at the track. That's when I get annoyed.

I'll be rolling on stretch soon so don't worry .

Yeah stretched tyres in no way improve your cars handling. Drift guys use them because of they basically have no sidewall flex when stretched. That doesn't mean they handle better.
If I wanted to track my car I would get another set of wheels with properly fitted tyres. But that's not what I'm about haha.

The whole stretched tire/handling ordeal is debatable. Look at the Sun Auto Cyber Evo. It's goes to show that having stretched tires can actually be good for cornering. Personally, I wouldn't run stretched tires on the track.
