As you come to the end of the metal spine installation (as shown) You can use the needle nose pliers to slide the metal spine into the final position. Total time for a novice was 15 minutes !

Start at either end of the wiper arm and slowly slide the metal spine into the "top" seam of the rubber insert. Take your time as you approach each insert mounting points the metal spine may slip out ot the seam. You'll have to work it back into position and continue the installation of the metal spine.

Notice that the metal spines are in the upper seam of the rubber insert . This is important to mount the new insert correctly the proper seam is easy to mix -up.

Here you see the end of the "NEW" rubber insert installed in the wiper arm. pay attention that the rubber insert is routed into the correct seams (see next photo)

Here the rubber insert and the metal spines are removed (notice the arch of the metal spines they must be re-installed the same way).

I used a pair of needle nosed pliers to gently lift the end of the rubber wiper blade out of the arm .At this point simply slide both spines out of the rubber insert.

Pay attention to the "arch" of the rubber insert and the track on the wiper blade (which grove holds the metal spines) .
