From what I understand, when the rotors turn with no brakes applied the rotor push the pads out. And the rotors and pads are in constant contact with one another. So with highperformance pads (higher mu coeficient) wont the pads slow the car down more than the OEM ones making the fuel efficiency go down (more gas to turn the wheels now). Or am I making a mountain out of a mole hill because after all we are talking about a non braking situation.
