I think it was $134. I don't think I will be buying one, but it looked nice lol. It looks high up like the Mugen bar.

Actually the Newer DC Strut Bars are pretty strong with no flex and solid mounting and not adjustable. They are kinda tough to get on but they are very nice. The old ones were mostly for looks and able to flex easy. They fit perfect but as I said you can't adjust them.

I have the Tanabe rear sway bar installed and my seats will not recline back into the second posistion. It will recline just a little bit but the seat hits the bolts on the sway bar. I could just cut off the bolts to allow them to recline all the way back but I'm lazy.

I tried that when I installed my rear Tanabe but they still won't latch in the reclined postion. If you cut out some of the plastic on the seat latch mechanisim it might lock. I just leave the seats foward.

I tried this as well, no go. About the only way to make it latch is to either cut some of the plastic on the seat as Moondog said or cut the bolt.

wow, that sucks. sorry to hear that guys. I have the J's Racing bar and there's no problem at all with "reclining" the rear seats.

J's Racing Strut bars

I am thinking about buying all of the strut bars by J's, has anyone gotten

any of these and do they help? By the way I just bought my Fit yesterday

and it should be coming in by the beginning of July. I am really excited

about modifying it. It's my first car.

Cusco Bars

I ordered a set of Cusco Front and Rear strut tower bars. I'm also planning on ordering the lower front brace wich I've seen available for the Fit. I e-mailed JapanParts.com and they said they aren't sure if that bar (designed for the JDM Fit) will work on the USDM Fit.

What do you guys think? Will it be just a matter of boring out the bolt holes to a larger size as is with the JDM coilover setups or will it be an open and shut case of simply bolting it on?

Thanks for any info.

tHE LOWER BAR FOR THE jdm fiT WILL NOT FIT!!! Check out the T1R ( I belive it is T1R) from AJR. It looks good and is not so expensive.. there is a thread where Ben explain the difference between the JDM and USDM bars with even a side by side comparo picture.

Sorry if I am talking about a different bar. A&J Racing :: Suspension & Brakes :: Fit/Jazz (GD3/4) :: T1R Lower arm brace for Honda Fit GD-3 2007 & up

ohh ok. out of the three you mentioned, I saw the rear strut bar made the biggest difference. I would also consider getting the innerfender braces and lower tie bar.

ohh and BTW, the Floor bar won't fit usdm Fits.

you should do as claymore says and visit the susspension forum. you'll find ALOT of answers there. happy hunting.

Oh well so much for having all my bars from the same manufacturer. Screw it, I'm buying the T1R bar and my braided lines next.

I already installed the Skunk2 Springs Carlos! Rims and wheels get in this week, already have my set of Rays Dura Nuts. The Cusco bars should arrive in about week or so.
