I just spoke with my insurance agent and she said the alarm and immobilizer will not reduce the cost of insurance because if someone wants the car, they will take it.

She also said insurance is more because of the high repair costs if I were to be in an accident. Because the cars are new and it's difficult to get parts, I have to pay a higher premium.

Has anyone else heard the same from their insurance company?
