Front Splash Shield Help
Front Splash Shield Help
I tore the part in front of my splash shield in deep snow today and have an issue. If you look at a parts diagram under the front fender section it shows a picture of the splash shield. I need the part that's in front of the splash shield that connects the splash shield to the bumper. I can't seem to figure out what part this is.
Thanks

#6 to me looks like the plastic flap that goes under neath the bumper which you put the pins into (#45s) to connect the bumper.
this one:

i vaguely remember something like #11 when i ripped off my splash gaurd from the bumper.
i could be wrong though.

The part you took a pic of is exactly what I'm looking for. Honestly though, I can't tell if it's #6 or #11. I'm leaning towards #6. Here's why. My car is a base model. If you look at the parts diagram for the base it doesn't even list #11. If you look at the diagram for the sport model it does list #11 and it's referred to as (spoiler fr bumper air). #6 is listed in both diagrams and referred to as (cover fr bumper lower). What do you guys think.
Turns out my camera is shot, so no pics, but I did take a good look for you.
#6 fills in the space between the splash shield and the bumper. #11 is a rubber airdam.
