How to Install a Cusco Rear tower bar in GE8
Hello all my people, i just got in my front and rear strut bar from Japan today and only had time to install the rear. so i wanted to do a little write-up on the install so here are some pics and info
start by removing spare tire cover
then remove the middle plastic peice(i used a flat plastic tool to pry it up or you can just pull on it a little and it will pop out, dont be scared it wont break just sounds like it.
then i pulled on the driver side quater panal plastic and poped it loose and moved it to the side
then took the end of the strut bar off and bolted it to the two bolts in the pic (14mm) and (12mm) sockets
then messured and cut into my plastic driver peice and trimmed a little so it would fit and then popped the peice back into place
and on the passenger side i popped the plastic peice off and bolted it into similar spots as the driver
measured and cut that side
and walah!

I wonder if the hardware can be swapped out with quick release hardware. That would be awesome to be able to easily and quickly remove the bar without tools when you need to carry something big. Does anyone know of some such nuts and bolts. I'm thinking something like the Quick-releases on mountain bikes.
