I had not noticed the lack of symmetry in the lug holes/spokes. I hate when wheels are like that. They should have made it a 4 spoke so they could align the lug holes.

Liking the stance. I wonder where it will be priced. Looks like Honda's bringing a bit of refinement to the Fit. A lot of it seems to be familiar to us all - I can see a few FF DIY's there.

I'm not a huge fan of the new grill, (way too much black plastic) but wonder what the mugen and sport optons will look like.

I think the front bumper looks good, and will definitely be replacing the grey climate control knobs in my 09 with the new black ones.

I don't understand why they would replace part of the seat fabric but not all of it? The center section has bothered me the most in terms of style, and collects just as much dirt and hair as the sides.

wow, those are ugly wheels....

but the black housing in the headlamps is kinda cool. it is starting to become a dated style though... in 5yrs domestics will catch on like they did with the euro-tails about 5yrs after the era phased out.

New Grill

I hope the new grill stops gravel from getting to the air conditioner condenser better than the old style.

The grill is not the problem - its the gaping holes in the bumper which is no different between old/new.

Most likely the bezel would be needed.

do not like the bumper and how the middle part is separated from the side.

do like the black housing and the grill

the rim is pretty ugly imo.

the interior is still nothing like the JDM fit 2 years ago where they have push buttons and digital temp display.

I do not like the black HVAC or the black speedometer/odometer surroundings. Makes it less sporty / more plasticky looking.

Fabric seems to be different but overall they are the same crappy seats with no support lateral or lumbar.

IMO the fit's the best thing Honda has going for them at the moment. The less they change the better off they will be.

i really wish the front grille didn't go all the way across from headlight to headlight, it would look a lot cleaner if it didn't. i could kinda care less about everything else, i think the older fit interior looks better than the chrome accents (looks a bit tacky). maybe ill do a bumper swap in the future, i hate scraping my jdp

Hope they upgrade the "carpeting". These are only style changes, nothing substantial- I thought 2012 would bring at least a CVT transmission or possibly a hybrid FIT. I sure am glad I did not wait to buy the Fit and got my 2010 when I did.

Ditto, those are the only two things I would like over my 09. Bluetooth would be nice but worth it, since you have to get the Navi to get it.

Honda really need to work on the car to get higher mileage on the EPA test cycle. All the complaints about the car keep coming back to mpg's. When in the real world, the fit seems to get similar mileage to the new crop of Direct Injection engines, which aren't getting anywhere near their EPA estimates for highway mileage.

I like the fog light housings/shape, but not the rest of the front end. Glad I have an '09! Too bad they couldn't implement LEDs into the headlights, or something more current. Instead, they put the base model ones on there. I like the big 'ole chrome things I have.

MMC Rarely brings much else other than style. Occasionally, a slight bump in HP or 1mpg increase in efficiency but nothing major. The CVT I could see coming to the US but not the hybrid. It would step wayyy to much on the insight. The Fit EV will be here before the hybrid as there isn't enough room at this point for two small hybrid 4-door hatchbacks in Honda's lineup. This is fine in Japan where Hybrids & small cars are commonplace and the two can coexist side-by-side but not yet in the US.

My first look at the car and I said... did they change anything? Then I saw the wheels, slight difference in the front end and that's about it. It seems to be one of the milder refreshes that Honda has done. Now the next question is... will this be a typical 5 year honda or a 6 year model cycle. I think 5 years as they'll need to update the fit soon after the MMC to keep competetive. Then they need to drop something major on the market as an upgrade.

Krimson- the replacement carpet is holding up much better-- since I no longer place my feet on the carpet when I exit the car. I think the Weathertech mats in the front are helping, too.

new fabric is pretty dang ugly unless you get the blue exterior color, doesn't make sense with anything else.
