V6 Honda Fit Build

Damn, that's some nice fab work.
So I guess if you ever made a kit it'd have to be hella expensive since it's replacing so much of the front end.
I still dream about doing this though, it's just too damn cool.
Imagine this with a pair of td04's...

The biggest problem with a production kit is that the rear mount is welded to the subfram, would have to come up with an easier solution for people to do that part.

Here are the upper radiator mounts that I wrestled with all weekend!
Coming up with a design that tied in to the rest of the design was a serious amount of work. This solution looks pretty nice to me.
Just a stock single cam, nothing to see here.

pinkbatman... I remember seeing a guy from NY here in CA with a v6 emblem on his fit, however, he had a 4 banger in it... You, however, are totally out of control with this project! You just made my day by seeing all the pictures that you have uploaded. A real v6 honda Fit! Man, oh Man!!! When you are done with that one, please do a gd3 honda fit and make a kit for it, please!!! I'd like the power and torque of a v6 in my fit lol. Next stop... ordering my miller211 mig... haha

Back in the saddle again. spent about the entirety of Sunday sorting out the test unit. Had to order a new crimper too.
This harness I got turns out to be in terrible shape, missing and broken connectors. Got another unit coming from one of the homies on facebook.
Wanted to test out the harness, but upon inspection it looks like the Fit has a returnless system. So I dragged the fuel pump out to investigate some solutions. Looks like there is a vent that will work great. Ordered a Grams 255lph and will convert it to a more traditional system.
Got some dope Sunchip dust incase you get the snackies
And sometimes you've gotta make a wonky tool to get stuff done.
Spent all of saturday working on this little project.

Got that new pump installed. Grams 255 from the boys at Speedfactory.
Frankfuel setup now. Spring system is not functional but the intake is nice and low in the tank.
I was planning to try to start up the car tonight, unfortunately I cut the push lock fuel feed. So I had to put in an order for a bunch of AN stuff from Summit.

Waiting for new posts on this thread is like waiting for a new season of your favorite show. By the way, i can't wait for deadpool either.

Got a few parts of the harness sorted out, DLC is now working and the motor is turning over.
The biggest problem was the "solution" to connect the car to the J computer. I cut the plug from Fit ECU and was planning on using that to build the patch harness. Turns out that the pins were making inconsistent connections, once I bypassed that connector 12v was flowing like sweet strawberry wine.
That's probably for the best. I have a little set of knock off Deutsch Connectors and will put on an 8 pin tomorrow.
Here is the setup for the fuel lines too.
